Drying things out (the smart way)
Here is how it actually works. Most heaters just warm up the air, which doesn’t do much for the moisture clinging to your walls. Our shortwave infrared lamps are different. They go straight for the surface. When that light hits a damp wall or ceiling, it pushes the water molecules out of the material. It’s basically forcing the moisture to evaporate way faster than a normal heater ever could. We use a special coated quartz glass to make sure the heat actually sinks into the wall, drying it from the inside out. And since mold needs moisture to survive, you’ve basically just taken away its food. No water, no mold. Simple as that.
Built for the splash zone
Water and electricity are a nightmare pairing. That’s why we built these to IP66 standards. In plain English? They’re dust-tight and can handle a high-pressure blast of water without breaking a sweat. We used silicone gaskets and heat-resistant polymers to keep the steam from getting where it shouldn’t. One quick heads-up, though. These lamps put out a lot of intense, localized heat.**Make sure your ceiling bracket can handle the temperature.**If you mount these too close to cheap plastic, things will warp. Just keep an eye on your materials.
How to actually use them
If you want the best results, don’t just flip the switch while you’re scrubbing your hair. Try wiring the lamp to a timer or a humidity sensor. Let it run for about 15 minutes after you’ve left the room. It strips away all that leftover dampness in the corners, meaning you can ditch the harsh chemical cleaners and just keep the place fresh and dry.
